The ‘Die Hard’ franchise is a series of films that are based on ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’, a 1979 novel by Roderick Thorp. The first film ‘Die Hard’ was released in 1988 and ‘Die Hard 2’ followed in 1990. The third film in the series was ‘Die Hard with a Vengeance’ which was released in 1995.
