NBA Star Anthony Davis’ Historic Career-High Game Is ‘Out of This World’

New Orleans Pelicans player Anthony Davis set the court on fire Monday night, with a career high with 53 points and 18 rebounds to cool off the Phoenix Suns. The 2017 NBA All-Star Mvp now joins Bob McAdoo as the only players with 50 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks since blocks were tracked in 1973-74, according to ESPN stats. The Pelicans went on to beat the Suns 125-166, and Davis — a first overall draft pick in 2012 — got the Twitterverse on its feet cheering while blowing the minds of sports statisticians.
