Throughout Unsolved Mysteries' long run on TV, one host stood out: Robert Stack. The late actor, sportsman, and television host served as the face (and voice!) behind the true crime show from 1987 to 2002. It began its run on NBC as a series of specials before turning into a full-fledged series on CBS for ten seasons. After its 1999 cancellation, it returned to Lifetime with an addition 103 episodes before Robert's passing in 2003. But, even though the show hasn't produced new episodes years, it still airs in syndication. So, naturally, people are curious about Robert's career and life because viewers are continually learning about the true crime mysteries years after they initially aired.
