Tagline: "A Nation Reborn." The First Purge is the fourth film in this action, horror series. James DeMonaco has written all of the films. In this latest title, Gerard McMurray (Burning Sands) directs a prequel. The First Purge covers everything that led up to the film's central McGuffin, twelve hours of lawlessness. In an attempt to get crime statistics down, the Founding Fathers of America allow a sociological experiment to take place, in an isolated community. The First Purge stars: Marisa Tomei, Lex Scott Davis, Luna Lauren Velez and many others. The film's first theatrical trailer is hosted here.
