Evelyn Sharma joins Prabhas’ 'Saaho' star cast

The actor – model made her debut in Bollywood with the film From Sydney with Love that won her a lot of fans. She has been roped in by director Sujeeth for a crucial role in Saaho and Evelyn is naturally elated about joining the star cast. She has been quoted by the Deccan Chronicle as saying: “Director Sujeeth approached me for this role in Saaho and of course, I said yes! I am glad that he saw a completely different side to me than the kind of roles I have played so far. This film is an amazing opportunity to show my talents and a fantastic launch for me into the South film industry.” Further, Evelyn will be seen performing some stunts in the film which is sure to go down well with the audiences, say sources in the know. She has also been undergoing special training for it. Saaho, directed by Sujeeth, stars Prabhas in the lead role. Expectations are very high on this project as it happens to be Prabhas’ next after the astounding success of Baahubali, a project with which he was associated for over five years. The filmmakers have huge plans for its release as Saaho will be out in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam considering the pan Indian appeal of it lead star Prabhas. According to the buzz doing rounds, Netflix has reportedly offered about Rs. 50 crores for the rights and Amazon is also in the race to procure the rights for all the languages. Produced by V. Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner Uv Creations, the film stars Shraddha Kapoor as the one of the leads lead along with Neil Nitin Mukesh, Arun Vijay, Mandira Bedi, Jackie Shroff, Lal, Vennela Kishore, Mahesh Manjrekar, Tinnu Anand, Aditya Srivastava, Narendra Jha and Murli Sharma in the star cast.
