Jimmy Fallon really needs to stop challenging Jennifer Lopez to dance battles. There is no chance he’s ever going to win, even if he makes her face him in a “Fast Dance-Off” to ’70s slow jams. That is exactly what he did on Wednesday’s “Tonight Show” — and failed miserably.
The late-night host and triple threat squared off in a contest over who could dance the fastest/best to a selection of songs that Roots bandleader Questlove deemed “the least danceable.”
Fallon tried to pull out some quick moves for Styx’s “Babe,” but Lopez’ sick hip-hop twist on the Commodores’ “Three Times a Lady” and Richard Harris’ “MacArthur Park” were unbeatable from the start.

The host knew when he’d been beat, and called “game over” after that, though Questlove was able to get them to team up for one more round, this time to Peaches & Herb’s “Reunited.”
The late-night host knew what he was getting himself into after dance-centric bits with Lopez during her appearances on the “Tonight Show” in 2014 and 2017, the former being the time JLo won the “tightest pants” crown.
