Henry Cavill on Justice League reshoots, Moustache-Gate, and keeping Superman out of the marketing

After restoring some pride to the DC Extended Universe back in May with the release of the critical and commercial hit Wonder Woman, Warner Bros. hit a major bump in the Dceu road later in the year with Justice League.

What was intended as DC’s answer to Marvel’s juggernaut Avengers series – and the launching pad for solo movies such as Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg – ultimately proved to be a major misfire for the franchise which saw Warner Bros. embarking on a major behind-the-scenes shake-up at DC Films in an attempt to salvage its superhero universe.

So far, we’re yet to hear any major criticism from the cast, but in an interview with Empire (via Cbm), Superman actor Henry Cavill has weighed in on one of the film’s biggest – and most hilarious – complaints: Superman’s CGI shave.
