Jessica Biel (‘The Sinner’): Playing Cora was as emotionally draining as ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ [Complete Interview Transcript]

Jessica Biel is coming off her first Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice Award nominations for the USA limited series “The Sinner.” The actress, who is also an executive producer on the series, stars as Cora Tannetti, a young mother who murders a random man in public and has no understanding of why she did so. The series centers on the investigation into her motives, led by Detective Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman).

Audiences were first introduced to Biel as Mary Camden on The WB’s “7th Heaven,” which she starred in for eight years. Since then she has mostly appeared in movies, such as: “The Illusionist,” “Total Recall,” “Blade: Trinity,” “The A-Team,” “Elizabethtown,” and “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.”
