Journey Back To Hogwarts With New Photo For Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

We’ve seen him walk the streets of 1920s Paris and rummage through that iconic briefcase, but for the latest Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald media dump, we’re introduced to a young, panic-stricken Newt Scamander (Joshua Shea) standing within the hallowed halls of Hogwarts.

Via EW, below you’ll see a high-res shot of the young Newt standing next to Albus Dumbledore. Gone are the half-moon spectacles and in their place are, well, Jude Law, who’s agreed to play the world-famous wizard long before he was announced as Hogwarts Headmaster.

And Newt? We know he was tossed out of school for “endangering human life,” so perhaps this flashback scene will shed some light on that pivotal moment? We’ll find out very soon. For the meantime, here’s a vintage shot of Newt Scamander dressed in Hufflepuff robes.
