Stevan Mena's Malevolence trilogy will close out with Killer aka Malevolence 3: Killer. This third film follows Malevolence (2003) and Bereavement (2010); Bereavement was a prequel to Malevolence. Production on this third film was held up, due to the tragic death of actor Scott Decker. However, Killer is expected to release this October, on home entertainment platforms. The film's poster artwork and release trailer are hosted here. This indie film fan remembers hearing of some of the difficulties behind this third production. Director Mena has stated earlier about this title and the challenges of its completion: "it was difficult to continue after Scott’s tragic death." Though, the show must go on as they say.
