DC’s Legends of Tomorrow hits a series low with season 4 premiere ratings

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow launched its fourth season this past Monday, but there was little to celebrate at The CW as the season four premiere ‘The Virgin Gary’ hit a series low in the ratings.

The episode – the first to air in the show’s new time slot – drew 1.01 million viewers, with a 0.3 rating in the key 18-49 demo. That’s down significantly from the third season, which averaged a 0.5 rating and 1.5 million viewers.

As well as hitting a series low, the premiere episode was also the least-watched show on U.S. television on Monday night, including programming on the Spanish-language networks. Fellow Arrowverse series Arrow fared a little better, with a 0.4 rating and 1.2 million viewers.
