Showing her southern Gothic roots (at least geographically) that helped her memorably bring to life matriarch Adora Crellin, Clarkson got emotional as she moved beyond the obvious list of thank-yous “This really is for my extraordinary mother and father,” the New Orleans-area native said. “I share this with you, mom and dad, in New Orleans.
