DC Universe’s Stargirl series casts Meg DeLacey and Jake Austin Walker

DC Universe’s upcoming Stargirl series has added two more young actors to its growing cast. Meg DeLacey (The Fosters) and Jake Austin Walker (Fear The Walking Dead) are the latest to join the streaming service’s latest show. DeLacey will play ruthless high school student Cindy Burman while Walker’s role remains undisclosed.

DeLacey’s character Cindy Burman is described as “Blue Valley High’s most popular student… and its most feared. Secretly the daughter of Dragon King (played by Nelson Lee), a longtime enemy of the Justice Society of America, Cindy is determined to follow in her father’s footsteps.”

DC Comics writer Geoff Johns, who created Stargirl, is set to write and produce the series alongside Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Melissa Carter.
