Adrienne Barbeau set for Swamp Thing return in DC Universe series

Having starred as the female lead in Wes Craven’s 1982 feature film adaptation, Adrienne Barbeau is set for a return to the Swamp Thing franchise, with the actress revealing that she is set for an appearance in the upcoming DC Universe TV series.

Barbeau is no stranger to the DC universe, having voiced Selina Kyle / Catwoman in Batman: The Animated Series, The New Batman Adventures and Gotham Girls, and also featured in the voice cast of the 2009 video game Batman: Arkham Asylum. Details on her Swamp Thing role are yet to be revealed.
