NBC's Bone Collector Reboot Taps Arielle Kebbel as Female Lead

Arielle Kebbel is staying with NBC for her next TV role. 

The actress will star opposite Grimm grad Russell Hornsby on the network's Bone Collector reboot, Lincoln, according to Deadline. 

It follows legendary forensic criminologist Lincoln Rhyme, who was seriously injured during his hunt for the serial killer known as the Bone Collector.

Lincoln is called back to work when the killer returns and forms a partnership with Amelia Sachs, a young beat cop who helps him hunt the deadly killer while also taking on the most high-profile cases in the NYPD.

NBC ordered a pilot for Lincoln back in January, and there's a good chance it will be part of the network's 2019-20 schedule. 

This is not the first time the Jeffery Deaver novel will be on the screen. Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie starred in the 1999 movie adaptation.
