The hit Starz series, American Gods, based on the 2001 Neil Gaiman novel, has now officially been renewed for its third season. The series just started its second season at Starz and has just found a new showrunner for the series in Charles “Chic” Eglee, who has experience in writing and running shows like The Walking Dead, Dexter, andThe Shield. That experience gives me a lot of faith that Eglee is a fantastic choice and will do great things for the series.
Starz programming boss Carmi Zlotnik had this to say about the addition of Eglee in a statement:
“Audiences continue to worship at the altar of American Gods and we are excited to be able to announce to all the true believers that there is more of this fantastical series to come,”
and then added:
“With Chic at the helm, the invaluable insight and contributions of Neil Gaiman and the...
