Hey, Emmys: If you don’t vote for Christina Applegate’s career-best performance, you’re dead to me!

As all you TV academy members are aware, we’re currently in the midst of Emmy voting, which ends June 24. If you’re struggling to fill out your Best Comedy Actress ballots, I highly encourage you to consider Netflix’s dark comedy contender “Dead to Me,” which features a career-best performance by Christina Applegate.

You already know Applegate, of course, because you awarded her a Best Comedy Guest Actress Emmy in 2003 for playing Rachel’s (Jennifer Aniston) middle sister on “Friends.” She was nominated again for that guest role in 2004 and later earned back-to-back bids as Best Comedy Actress for “Samantha Who?” (2008-09), the same category in which she now contends for “Dead to Me.”
