‘This Is Us’ Executive Producer Ken Olin Signs Overall Deal With 20th Century Fox TV

This Is Us” executive producer and director Ken Olin has signed an overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television, the studio said Wednesday.

The pact is Olin’s first with the now-Disney-owned studio and will have him developing new projects for all platforms. The news of his deal comes a month after “This Is Us” creator Dan Fogelman renewed his own contract with 20th Century Fox TV, which was followed by NBC’s announcement that it had handed the family drama a three-season renewal.

“Ken is a special talent and a terrific guy who has been such a valuable resource to Dan and everyone at ‘This Is Us,'” 20th Century Fox TV’s president of creative affairs Jonnie Davis said. “Keeping him at this studio and on that important show was literally a mission for Howard [Kurtzman, president of business operations] and me, and we’re equally excited to work on other projects with him.
