David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies) is about to jump into the dark world of Stephen King again with Lost and Game of Thrones director Jack Bender. The two are teaming up to adapt King’s latest novel, The Institute, and bring it to life as a limited series.
I still haven’t had a chance to read this book yet as it was just released, but I’ll definitely get around to it soon! The story centers around “Luke Ellis, whose parents are murdered in the middle of the night by intruders. Luke wakes up at The Institute in a room that looks just like his own, except there’s no window. Outside his door are other doors, behind which are other kids with special talents, such as telekinesis and telepathy, who got there the same way Luke did.”
Kelley and Bender previously worked on the series adaptation of Mr.
