Ratings: ‘Sunnyside’ Leaves Broadcast Without a Bang

Kal Penn’s “Sunnyside” got some good news on Thursday, but not good ratings. Still, the NBC sitcom stayed steady from last week in its final episode for broadcast.

As per usual, Fox dominated with “Thursday Night Football,” though last night’s non-competitive game, which also saw Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes carted off with a lower-leg injury, fell fairly hard in Nielsen numbers from the prior week.

Due to the nature of live sports, the below fast-national Nielsen numbers should be considered subject to significant adjustment.

Fox was first in ratings with a 3.0 rating/14 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 9.7 million, according to preliminary numbers. Those numbers were the combination of the Fox pregame show and the game itself.
