The National Board of Review have unveiled their best of 2019 picks, topped by Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman, which also picked Best Screenplay. Other winners included Quentin Tarantino for Best Director, while Adam Sander, Renée Zellweger, Brad Pitt, and Kathy Bates picked up acting prizes.
