NBC has its latest “Writers on the Verge,” naming the Class of 2019-20 for its diverse writers program. Now in its 14th year, Writers on the Verge assembles talented aspiring writers of diverse backgrounds who are “on the verge” of breaking out but would benefit from a final polish of their writing and pitch-presentation skills to prepare them for a TV career.
