Toby Huss Signs With Apa; Ruth Madeley Inks With Paradigm

Actor-writer-artist Toby Huss, who currently stars in Apple TV’s Dickinson opposite Hailee Steinfeld, has signed with Apa.

Huss plays Edward Dickinson, Emily’s (Steinfeld) father, on the half-hour comedy about 1800s poet Emily Dickinson.

Huss was a series regular on all four seasons of AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire, as well as Facebook’s Sacred Lies and HBO’s Carnivale. He recently appeared in HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones, Jason Reitman’s The Front Runner, and the Universal/Blumhouse reboot of Halloween opposite Jamie Lee Curtis. Other television credits include a recurring on Glow, as well as appearances on Veep, Feud, King of the Hill, Reno 911!, and NewsRadio.

Huss recently wrapped shooting the Blumhouse feature In A Valley Of Violence. Other feature credits include Ghostbusters, Girlfriend’s Day, Enough Said, 42, Cowboys and Aliens, Bedazzled, and Jerry MacGuire.
