Spy Kids creator Robert Rodriguez is partnering with Skydance Media and Spyglass Media Group to relaunch the family movie franchise.
Skydance Media optioned the rights to reboot the Spy Kids property with IP owner Spyglass Media Group and Rodriguez, who will write and direct the next movie in the franchise.
Spyglass owns and controls the Spy Kids franchise. Skydance will serve as the lead studio and oversee development and production.
And Spyglass’ Gary Barber and Peter Oillataguerre will executive produce.
