The 2021 Daytime Emmys were held on Friday night, July 25, during a ceremony hosted by Sheryl Underwood and broadcast on CBS at 8:00pm (some winners were announced on Twitter starting at 5:00pm Eastern). These winners represented the best in soap operas, talk shows, game shows, and other genres. But there’s more where that came from. On June 28 another set of nominations will be announced in fields such as children’s, animated, and lifestyle programming. Those trophies will be handed out during online ceremonies on July 17-18. So who were the big winners in round one of these 48th annual kudos? Scroll down for the full list, updated live throughout the night.
Nominees and winners at the Daytime Emmys were selected in a single round of voting by panels ranging from 10 to 50 members. Those panels scored every submission in their respective categories instead of ranking them against each other in order of preference.
