The new movie The Good Nurse is a haunting tale of a nurse who murdered his patients and his coworker’s attempts to stop him. Though she succeeds, the movie’s ending is a bleak one, as he never reveals just why he committed such an atrocity.

Of course, depressing endings are nothing new in Hollywood.
