Montgomery Christopher Jorgensen Scott was born and raised in Scotland on Earth, and spent at least some part of his life in Aberdeen. In 2241, he joined Starfleet as an engineering officer, serving on a variety of freighters, cruisers, and starships. However, his longest posting was aboard the USS Enterprise and USS Enterprise-a, totaling thirty-one years.
