The new animated action-adventure series, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, presents the fictional archaeologist on a completely new mission, following her expeditions in the reboot video game series by Crystal Dynamics. This time around, Lara Croft’s journey to different corners of the world is not to find any rare treasure or some hidden secret, but a combination of both, as the artifacts she seeks are crucially important to save the world. A new antagonist is also introduced, and it is through the conflicts with him that Lara goes through a healing experience as well. Overall, Tomb Raider brings nothing too unique to the table but still makes for an adequately entertaining watch.
