Despite his demise in Avengers: Endgame, Thanos could return and wreak havoc on the Multiverse again if the opportunity arises. Josh Brolin, who portrayed the terrifying supervillain, suggests he could portray Thanos in Avengers: Secret Wars, though the character "has to fit" the story being told.

Speaking with Collider at New York Comic Con, Brolin addressed the possibility of Thanos appearing in Secret Wars, the anticipated Phase Six closer and Multiverse-collapsing event. However, Brolin thinks the right narrative needs to be introduced for a Thanos comeback to make sense. "Im not kidding Theres a thing with playing Thanos.
