Tatsuki Fujimoto’s world in Chainsaw Man has many supernatural elements but it is still realistic through the characters and their aspirations. From Denji to Aki, they all just wanted a bit of normalcy far from the suffering and tragedy they endured. While Look Back doesn’t have a supernatural setting and is more grounded than Chainsaw Man, both Fujino and Kyomoto seemed like outcasts when they accepted their talents.
