Netflix’s first foray into English language medical dramas, “Pulse,” does not skip a beat in its first trailer.

Two medical attendants get caught kissing by a nurse, a hurricane forces the whole hospital to step up and, of course, a patient’s life is saved.

As a hurricane barrels towards Miami’s busiest Level 1 Trauma Center, third-year resident Dr. Danny Simms (Willa Fitzgerald) is unexpectedly promoted when chief resident Dr. Xander Phillips (Colin Woodell), the man she’s developing feelings for, is suspended.
