Since his 1991 debut “No Skin Off My Ass,” Canadian filmmaker Bruce Labruce has made himself a fixture of New Queer Cinema and the most transgressive strains of avant-garde film. Now his most recent film “The Visitor” finally hits theaters around the US, starting with an exclusive run at the Roxy Cinema in NYC from March 7-9.

A remake of Pier Paolo Pasolini‘s 1968 classic “Teorema,” “The Visitor” takes place in present-day London, where a refugee washes upon the bank of the Thames and gradually insinuates himself into an upper-class family’s home, satiating sexual desires they never knew they had.
