Official staff once again refused to confirm a connection between Dragon Ball Daima and Dragon Ball Super. Since Daima ended on Feb. 28, 2025, Dragon Ball fans have continued to debate the continuity between the two Akira Toriyama shows.
Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, a renowned animator and character designer for the Dragon Ball franchise, was interviewed by @/SofianLeGEEK during his appearance at Made in Asia Spring 2025, which took place in Brussels, Belgium, from March 7 to 9, 2025. The interview was translated by social media user @/Venixys on X (formerly Twitter). In the interview, Nakatsuru was asked about a possible connection between Goku’s Super Saiyan 4 form from Daima and his Super Saiyan God (Red) form from Dragon Ball Super.
