The mini-series Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars reunites the whole cast and crew of Farscape for a further 182 minutes. The mini-series ties up all the loose ends left after the abrupt cancellation of Farscape – from a looming war between the alien factions, the Peacekeepers and the Scarrans, to John and Aeryn’s efforts to have a child, to the fate of the rest of the crew resided on the spaceship Moya alongside Crichton and Aery.

Running from 1999 to 2003 Farscape was abruptly cancelled after Season 4 – having ended with a “To Be Continued” tag. After fan uproar, series creator Rockne S. O’Bannon and executive producer Bria Henson worked tirelessly for two years to get funding to tie up the loose ends in Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars.
