Monster Hunter Wilds has gained quite a fair amount of traction in recent months since its release for both PCs and consoles on February 28, 2025. The game has managed to break concurrent Steam player records and is generally a great game overall—save for some glaring issues.

The game is also heavy on co-op, offering players the chance to hunt down some monsters together. To this extent, (in addition to commemorating the game’s massively successful launch) Capcom has prepared a series of events in its free title update.

However, many of these additions have received a lukewarm response from the community, especially with regards to its ‘ranking system’.
