Madhouse’s ‘Devil May Cry: The Animation’ Will Finally Have Some Serious Competition With What Evanescence Just Revealed
Devil May Cry fans are torn over which animated adaptation was better, and for now, the ball is in Madhouse’s court. Netflix’s version did have updated visuals, but lacked the gothic aesthetic, which was undoubtedly more like Devil May Cry.
However, the little glimpses we got into the second season of Netflix’s Devil May Cry might just turn the tide in its favor. Dante’s updated look, with his iconic long hair and new outfit, while actually using Ebony and Ivory, has already hyped fans up for the second season.
The funniest part about the newfound excitement is that it wasn’t a separate Netflix sneak peek; it was from the music video for Evanescence’s Afterlife.
