'Andor' Season 2's Benjamin Bratt Talks Replacing Jimmy Smits as Bail Organa
Andor Season 2 won't include some iconic Star Wars villains like Darth Vader or Emperor Palpatine, but it is not afraid to include other iconic characters. In one of the more shocking moments of the new season, it was revealed that Benjamin Bratt was cast as Bail Organa, replacing Jimmy Smits after he portrayed the character for over 20 years. Instead of using CGI Deepfake technology, Andor decided to simply recast, and the decision has already paid dividends. Bratt himself has now commented on the exciting development, as well as the future of his portrayal of the character.
