Tim Roth, Cristo Fernández & Martha Higareda Howes Leading Comedy ‘Holy Molé’ With ‘Encanto’ Composer Scoring — Cannes Market

Exclusive: Oscar nominee Tim Roth (Pulp Fiction), Cristo Fernández (Ted Lasso) and Martha Higareda Howes (Queens on the Run) are set to star in comedy Holy Molé, which Odin’s Eye will be selling at the upcoming Cannes market.
The film will follow a pompous food critic (Roth) and the earnest son-of-a-chef (Fernández) who must outcook, outrun, and outwit a ruthless queen-pin (Higareda Howes) in order to save the son’s family restaurant – and themselves. Currently in pre-production, the film is slated for delivery in Q2, 2026.
Pic is written by Australian scribe Phil Lloyd (Population 11) and will be helmed by veteran commercials director Roderick Fenske, marking his feature debut. Micah Mason (The Internship) is producing alongside Casper Shirazi for Fenske’s new outfit, Steamroller of Positivity Productions. Higareda Howes is also executive-producing with her prodco NeverEnding Media.
