Jay Kelly has been in production for quite a while. First announced in 2023, the new movie by Noah Baumbach (The Squid and the Whale) has been described as "a heartbreaking comedy." Today, Netflix finally decided to unveil a first look at the upcoming movie, which gives us a general idea of the tone. The streamer also finally revealed the release date for Jay Kelly: we can expect to check it out on the platform on December 5, after a limited theatrical run in November.

The first-look image shows George Clooney, but we're yet to see a lot more actors populate the screen.
