A 3-Year-Old Interview Might Be the Missing Puzzle Behind Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt’s The Smashing Machine Reunion

2021’s Jungle Cruise was another run-of-the-mill Dwayne Johnson movie starring Johnson as himself in the backdrop involving a jungle. While the movie wasn’t anything special, underperforming both critically and commercially, it did stem a genuine bond between its leads, Emily Blunt and the Black Adam star.
Although the chemistry in the movie itself proved to be divisive among moviegoers, with some people enjoying it and others being indifferent, off-screen, it was a different case, and it’s easy to see why these two joined forces again.

Contrary to the movie, Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt‘s chemistry was off-the-charts in the movie’s promotional interviews, especially in an episode of Wired‘s Autocomplete series. While the series itself is always a fun watch, the friendly banter between Blunt and Johnson during the interview further elevated their interview.
