Netflix Is Making a ‘Clash of Clans’ Animated Series
Netflix is bringing one of the world’s biggest mobile games to the screen. The popular game Clash of Clans, along with its spinoff Clash Royale, is being turned into an animated series.
These strategy games, made by Supercell, have been played by millions and earned billions. Now, they will serve as the inspiration for a new show on Netflix. According to the streaming platform, the story will follow “a determined but in-over-his-head barbarian who must rally a band of misfits to defend their village and navigate the comically absurd politics of war.”
The show is being led by Fletcher Moules, who has directed many of Clash of Clans’ official animated shorts. He will be joined by Ron Weiner, known for his writing on hit shows like 30 Rock and Silicon Valley.
