Producers of Broadway’s The Last Five Years – the Jason Robert Brown musical starring Nick Jonas and Adrienne Warren – have taken an unusual step as a way to honor the industry’s all-important pinch-hitters: They’ve added a one-night-only performance to star standbys Noah Kieserman and Nasia Thomas.

“We as a theater industry would be nowhere without the dedication of swings, understudies and standbys,” producers Seaview, Atg Productions and The Season said in a statement. “We are so excited to be able to give Noah and Nasia an opportunity to perform these roles that have been so delicately and beautifully realized by Nick and Adrienne.”

Kieserman and Thomas will perform the roles in a specially added Sunday June 15 7 p.m. performance, one week before the limited engagement comes to a close.
