Iconic Movie Quotations
Many movie quotes became iconic because they could adapt to everyday situations that justified quoting the film... starting with the film itself Indeed, some quotes were even more legendary because they seemed to have an existence of their own "before" the film and entered pop culture as "quotes within quotes", or simply put "quotations". Whether quotes whose core-statement was taken from an original speaker or featuring a quotation from the actual speaker referring to himself or someone else, the quotation to vote for is in bold letters. Some classic lines were used in an initial context then reprised for a more impactful effect, they can be considered as quotations but they don't exactly fit the criteria of the poll, so no "there's no place like home" or "Hasta la vista baby". Which of these cinematic quotations is the most iconic? After voting, I say "discuss the list here"

D-Day: The 6th of June
June 6th, 2019 marks the 75th anniversary of the final day of Operation Overlord, the biggest secret/not so secret invasion of Europe by The Allied Forces in conjunction with The French Resistance against Adolf Hitler's "Third Reich". The German Army knew it was coming, but not where or when. The U.S. Army's most daring General, George S. Patton who was temporarily relieved of command by General Dwight D. Eisenhower, was deftly used as a decoy by The U.S. Army Military Intelligence Corps to fool the The German High Command into believing that Patton would lead the Invasion. A fake Army Division and corresponding fake communication dispatches that was part of Operation Fortitude led to the ruse being successful. This Poll has Movies and TV Series that had in them as a part of their story line, a reference to or a re-creation of the invasion on June 6th, 1944. "D-Day" Which is your favorite?
