AFI's Unlisted Hollywood Male Legends

A few years ago, the American Film Institute unveiled its Top 25 actors of the 20th century, male legends who graced the silver screen during Hollywood Golden Age (movie debut in or before 1950). Have a look at this list and you'll notice some absences and not the least prestigious ones. Granted it was a difficult, if not impossible, task to satisfy all the fans who wished their favorite stars could be in, some non-inclusions are quite surprising and rather infuriating. As strange as it sounds, none of these 25 gentlemen made it in the Top 25 and there's no denial that they are icons from the classic era. Which of these actors' absence do you find the most (unpleasantly) surprising? MORE Powerful Movie Scenes With Minimal Dialogue

As Norma Desmond once said, "We didn't need dialogue. We had faces." Though she may have meant this in a different context, we understood the subtext - sometimes, the most powerful moments in a film can be conceived without any dialogue at all. We often associate powerful movie scenes with some intense action or an intense exchange of words. However, these scenes had little to no dialogue and still resonated with us for being as iconic as they were silent. By the end, you may have felt emotionally drained or inexplicably moved, but the catch is that such was achieved without the primary usage of dialogue. So which of these powerful movie scenes, that had little to no dialogue, resonated with you the most?
