Female Oscar Nominees & Winners at the Age of 32
And here comes the 'anniversary' poll... Just like the previous edition, the celebration of IMDb's 32nd Anniversary will be made into two separate lists: one for male and one for female performers. So here's the first list of performances that earned actresses (or female actors) an Oscar nomination or win on the year of their 32nd birthday. Which of these performances (ranked chronologically) would you consider your favorite? After the vote, you might discuss the list here (oh, and the * refers to a supporting role) As usual, using the same convention as for the last seven editions, the age 32 is simply the result of a simple subtraction of years (Oscar year minus birth year). 2019 Pride: Favorite LGBTQ Character From TV
Every year in June, the LGBTQ community celebrates "Pride Month" — and there's a lot to celebrate: LGBTQ persons are represented in TV series more than ever before, up significantly from just five years ago. This June also commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising. To celebrate this 50th year of Pride, consider the following LGBTQ characters, from television series* that aired between June of 2018 and June of 2019: who is your favorite? Discuss here. Vote in other Pride polls here. *The series could have started during any year as long as new episodes were aired between June 2018 and June 2019. Not included were characters that already appeared in either of these two older polls: 2016 TV Poll, 2016 TV Poll Part Two
