When Evil is Relative

You don't choose your family... no family is perfect... fair enough. Movies have taught us that one can be flawed, bad or downright evil but still be good with the family. However, there are cases where the harm was directed toward the family and that's harder to forgive. These villains or main antagonists all harmed one or many relatives (by blood, marriage or adoption) during the film, some did far worse. We're not discussing their popularity (winners would be too obvious) but their level of hatefulness. Simply put, which evil relative was the worst? After voting, you might discuss the list here

Mysterious Movie Characters

Over the years, cinema has graced us with countless fascinating personalities with even more fascinating origins. For some characters, however, much of their allure stems from the fact that they have remained an enigma to us, mysterious characters whose pasts WE DEMAND TO LEARN MORE ABOUT. With many of them, we were either given their 'version' of their past or simply no backstory at all. Either way, we're left with questions. Which of these mysterious characters portrayed in film, and their surely fascinating pasts, would you be eager to learn more about? (Please note: In order to be eligible for this list, these characters must have a past, whether it being their childhood or background, that hasn't truly been explained in the films they have featured in and thus remain a general mystery to us.) Rolling Stones' Top 20 Most Annoying Songs

Many pop songs are unforgettable... although they're not exactly as artistically significant as, say, "Hey Jude", "Bohemian Rhapsody" or "Smells Like Teens Spirit". Their secret? They're just annoyingly catchy, or just plain annoying, or just catchy but then you belong to the minority, anyway, these are songs we just love to hate and sometimes, hate to love. In 2007, magazine Rolling Stones came up with the list of the 20 most annoying songs ever, among these 20 titles, which one do you think deserves it the most? (shouldn't even be considered a guilty pleasure and should have been ranked higher, if it was possible)? Discuss here

Oliver Stone Asks Who Shot JFK?

Oliver Stone's JFK (1991) celebrated the 25th anniversary of its USA release on 20 December 2016. The film's commercial and critical success sparked the re-opening of congressional hearings into the JFK assassination. The outcome of the hearings was the passage of the JFK Act of 1992, intended to declassify and make public 5 million previously withheld government documents by an October 2017 deadline. The same congressional hearings determined that a conspiracy was probable, but did not detail who the gunmen were or the extent of the conspiracy. In retrospect, 50 years after the event and 25 years after the movie debut with the public release of 5 million related documents: who do you think shot John F. Kennedy? Which conspiracy theory on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, many of which are discussed in the film J.F.K., do you find the most credible? Discuss the topic here.
