But here is a selection of iconic TV signature quotes originally uttered by the main character until we started using them in our own lives and situations so that they became part of the American -and International- lexicon (one quote by show). Founded in 1951 by Jack Webb, Mark VII Limited was a prolific production studio known as a pioneer in producing straight-to-the-point, procedural dramatic TV series. Their series were (primarily) known for their gritty realism and attention to detail. Mark VII's well-known and often spoofed production logo of a hand striking a stamp with a hammer before revealing the Roman numeral VII indented between the text "Mark" and "Limited" was just as well-known and memorable.
