Every March, many people throughout the world celebrate Women's History Month. Women's history in cinema has been mixed: while it has often been a force for positive change, women have been underrepresented both behind and in front of the camera. For example, for decades women have filled less than one third of speaking roles and represent less than one third of named characters in movies. Hollywood, don't even think about remaking or rebooting this classics! Or else, you're going to be in big trouble! Sometimes you just can't beat the original, so why even try? These movies (1999-below) are best well-known to be a classic and proved to be untouchable because it already have all of its perfection we we're looking for in a film. Do you remember when Hollywood decided to remake Hitchcock’s “Psycho”, one of the greatest film of all time, and it fails because it never captures the greatness of its original? Well, we hoped that these films won’t have the same fate like that one. Which of these classic films you don't want Hollywood to remake or reboot it? Note: I’m excluding animated films like “Toy Story” and franchises that have inspired spinoffs or expanded universes like “Star Wars.” And I’m also excluding classic films that already have a remake, like “Psycho”. Filmsite.org, who was polite enough to mention that the IMDb, Boxoffice.com, Boxofficemojo.com, and The-numbers.com in their intro to ALL-TIME TOP 100 FILMS (Domestic Gross, Inflation-Adjusted), said, as of January 15, 2019, these were the top 35 films for the USA domestic box office. These are the real Hollywood box office blockbusters, not the lists that only use today’s actuals and forget to adjust the box office for ticket inflation for the older films, aka, count the number of tickets sold. However there is one big flaw in this list and that is many of the films have been released more than once. In fact, one originally flopped, and later found its true audience in a re-release in the 1950s and 1960s. With that being said, it still does not take away from the accomplishments of those that had only one release and still made the list. Which one of these films is your favorite?
