Sherman Brothers

The Sherman Brothers were an American songwriting duo that specialized in musical films, made up of brothers Robert B. Sherman (1925 – 2012) and Richard M. Sherman (born 1928). Together they received various accolades including 2 Academy Awards and 3 Grammy Awards. In 1976 they received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Sherman Brothers wrote more motion-picture musical song scores than any other songwriting team in film history. Among their most famous works are the theme park songs There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow and It's A Small World (After All). Best sci-fi movie from outside the USA?

It is not that hard to keep track of the American must-see sci-fi movies, even if there are quite a few. It is more difficult, however, to keep yourself informed about the sci-fi gems from other countries. What would be the best sci-fi movie that is not made in the USA?
