When the Villain Wins an Oscar
When supporting characters are not that 'supporting' ... when the leads lead a selfish crusade in the name of greed, cruelty or a wicked vision of power ... or when the darkest sides of the human soul inspire powerful and unforgettable perforamances allowing the villain to have a final revenge... and take the Oscar home. Which of these oscar-winning performances as a real-life or fictional villain is your favorite? After voting, you may discuss the list here (PS: Vito Corleone isn't included not because he's a good guy but to call him a 'villain' in the film's narrative would make no sense, his son Michael was a villain in the second opus, although a tragic one)

The Most Bizarre Mother-Character in a Movie
In some movies the role of a bizarre mother-character is a special element of storytelling. Sometimes an actress does such an awesome performance as a bizarre mum, that the mothers bizarreness becomes a fundamental element of the story. Who of these memorable characters below do you think is the most bizarre mother by acting strange and/or freaking out on screen? (Only movies with a rating of 7.5/10 or higher, with one exception: down to a rating of 7/10 when the character is outstanding and memorable for more than 20 years.) Discuss here. A big thank you to Peter, rubyfruit76 and Jen for their special big help, also thank you to albstein, ACT_1 and Stephen N Russel.
Most Ridiculous Curse-Covering Audio Dubs
In the early days of basic cable channels like TNT and TBS, they would clumsily dub odd words over words that were deemed too racy for a general audience. These methods have mostly evaporated with time but when they were still prevalent, some truly odd turns of phrase were made to come out of the actors' mouths. Which of these dubs from that era is the most laughable? Discuss the list here * you can see the uncensored lines on the pages of the films

Improvising is the... uh... the best!
A script gives an actor/actress a certain eloquence but sometimes it's that spur of the moment, gut instinct feeling, that moment when they are so into character, that the true magic comes out of their mouths. In order to qualify, these lines must have either been ad-libbed by the actor on screen or changed from how it was originally written in the script. I have chosen not to include lines/moments delivered by Brando, as so much of his dialogue was ad-libbed that perhaps he merits a list of his own. In your opinion, which improvised moment in film by an actor has resonated most with you over the years? After voting, you may discuss your unscripted thoughts here.

When Evil is Relative
You don't choose your family... no family is perfect... fair enough. Movies have taught us that one can be flawed, bad or downright evil but still be good with the family. However, there are cases where the harm was directed toward the family and that's harder to forgive. These villains or main antagonists all harmed one or many relatives (by blood, marriage or adoption) during the film, some did far worse. We're not discussing their popularity (winners would be too obvious) but their level of hatefulness. Simply put, which evil relative was the worst? After voting, you might discuss the list here
